About Us

In 1984 John Campbell established Retruck Australia after transcending a near fatal trucking accident. We manufacture in house our own products and services to the trucking and heavy vehicle industry Australia wide. This boutique for trucks is a family owned business that has been operating for almost 25 years and hopes to continue for many more years to come, keeping it in the Campbell family.

Today John Campbell is still the director of the company. Son, Stuart joined John and his dedicated team in 1998, working part time as well as finishing off his education. Stuart has now moved up the chain to Workshop Manager and has big plans for the future of Retruck Australia. Stephanie joined her father John and brother Stuart in May 2007, and is now the Office Manager; she too has big plans for the future of Retruck working along side with her brother Stuart

 

Our Aim

We aim is to develop OEM and aftermarket composite based products (and associated manufacturing systems) for heavy haulage and other transport vehicles which: - Improve vehicle aerodynamics to reduce fuel consumption and offer superior environmental credentials ;

  • - Where possible improve driver comfort and safety
  • - Are constructed from lightweight composite materials yet offer high structural integrity ;
  • - Do not overtly impede or adversely affect the performance of a vehicle in its' original form;
  • - Seamlessly integrate with existing vehicle electronics and other systems;
  • - Meet or exceed all relevant legislative or other compliance regimes associated with road vehicles;
  • - (where applicable ) are internally designed to reflect leading edge ergonomics, optimal internal cavity space utilization and feature positioning
  • - By design and constructed as one piece or limited component parts so as to limit dust and other environmental ingress and / or reduce maintenance cycles; and - Offer improved aesthetics and are suitable for multiple vehicle models / brands.

We Relocate, Manufacture, Upholster, Spray-Paint, Line & Scroll, Sign Writing and fit accessories to suit your truck such as: Aero Roof kits, Roof Conversions, Sleeper Boxes, Side Shields, Fuel Tank Flares, Wheel Arch Flares, Turntables, Chassis Modifications, Checker Plate Walkways, Mudguards, Exhaust Shrouds, Lights, Bull Bars and Air ‘n’ Electrics.
