For example, after an aero kit is fitted to a 34" low roof Western Star truck like those displayed in Figures 1, and 2 above, customers report an overall improvement in their:

  • vehicle's performance (owing to a reduction in wind resistance)
  • driver's comfort (owing to increased stability) and in
  • truck's fuel efficiency

Overall, research indicates that an aero kit creates a 24% reduction in wind resistance which in turn, results in fuel savings of between 7% and 14% over long distances at high speeds.
